Salt Bush leaves are great as a side infusing a natural saltiness to your plate. Turn up the heat with this super simple fry that’s ready in minutes.
INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp peanut oil
½ tsp salt flakes
3 cloves garlic, crushed
200 g fresh Salt Bush leaves
2 tbsp organic tamari
3 tbsp stock
½ tsp sesame oil
METHOD
In a deep frypan heat your oil to 180˚C. When ready your oil will appear to shimmer. Season the oil with the salt flakes and garlic before adding the Salt Bush leaves, stir-frying for about 3 minutes.
Add the tamari and continue to stir-fry for a further minute. Add the stock and continue to stir-fry for a further minute before finally adding a splash of your sesame oil. Serve immediately.
